PROF. DR. AB. AZIZ AL-SAFI BIN ISMAIL (MD,PHD)
Prof. Dr. Ab Aziz Al-Safi bin Ismail (born 4 November 1957) is a Malaysian physician, academic, and senior consultant specializing in diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, community medicine, functional medicine, nutritional therapy, and clinical cupping. He is noted for his extensive work in holistic health and preventive medicine, with a focus on reducing the incidence of dialysis through early intervention.
Academic Qualification
Medical doctor, public health specialist, and PhD in cardiovascular disease & Type 2 diabetes (Liverpool, UK). Holds a fellowship in nutritional and environmental medicine, with focus on diabetes and cancer.
Work Experience
Nearly 40 years in medicine, academia, and healthcare leadership; Founder & CEO of Neo Medicare, dedicated to advancing public health and CKD awareness.
